App Localization

<div class="arrowRow1"></div>

You’re an app owner who got into the business after looking at all the money and impact other app owners were making, globally, by simply putting an app out there and selling it.

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”18″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_color=”%23161b22″]Then you look at your app that is barely getting you 5 sales a month from international sources. You probably are making a profit and impact in Anglophone countries, but aside from that, you have little to no sales in countries like the UAE, Egypt, and Lebanon.

Have you ever wondered if that could change? If you could start making app sales in these far-away lands that you associate with Ali Baba, Sinbad, Aladdin, and other such exotic tales?[/text_block]

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”28″ font_font=”Lobster%20Two” font_style=”bold%20italic” font_color=”%23ffffff”]

The truth is, today the world is a small village, and you no longer need to speak multiple tongues to sell your app to someone on the other side of the planet!

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”18″ font_font=”Asap” font_color=”%23161b22″]

You can actually capitalize on one of the world’s fastest growing digital markets – the Middle East and North Africa region, where over 150 million Arabic-speaking Internet users live.

Imagine someone walking down the street in a dishdasha, buying your app from the App Store. Or a woman in an abaya, getting into her car and making an in-app purchase in your app before she starts driving.

How nice would it be to allow these people’s lives to be changed through your app, even though you don’t speak their language?

I’ve been translating since a very young age – for family and friends – and only a couple of years ago did I embrace translation as my career!

Since then, I also took up digital marketing, and I specialize in helping businesses connect with Arabic speakers. I am also a huuuuge fan of apps – everyone marvels at the sheer number of apps on my home screens! – which is why I created this offer for you …[/text_block]

App Localization Package came into fruition after I realized the sheer number of people who were burned by Fiverr translators who do not understand English as well as they should.

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”23″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_style=”normal” font_color=”%23161b22″]I’ve spent hours being frustrated at the appalling translations some apps have and convincing clients that yes, I actually couldn’t just edit the crappy translation they’d gotten done through one of the freelance websites that are crawling with low-quality translators who cannot write a paragraph in English without making grave grammatical errors![/text_block]
[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”center” font_size=”31″ font_font=”Asap” font_style=”bold” font_color=”%23d2a836″ top_margin=”35″ bottom_margin=”35″]App Localization Package is a done-for-you service spanning 3 weeks, in which I will translate your app’s content and App Store/Play Store description into Arabic.[/text_block]
[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”18″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_color=”%23161b22″ top_margin=”25″]Once the translation is done, I will send it to you so that you or your developer can implement it into the app, after which I will ask you to share the app with me so that I can confirm that the Arabic translation was inserted accurately.

This service is structured so that you can get the highest possible quality of translation, along with quality assurance from me that it looks good, once and for all.

Some of the things that I really appreciated are the quick responses every time we reach out, and the considerations Bouchra gave us at the beginning of our relationship due to our company being a startup: offering a lower rate in favor of establishing a long-term relationship. Also, the translation was perfect and any alterations needed were accommodated!

What I never expected was being able to trust someone I never met with my entire business plans, but the treatment received from Aurora Hikma was very comforting and assuring and that is the number one factor why I’d always want to work with them. I’m already working on 2 other projects with other friends and we have Aurora Hikma in the front lines for both projects!

  • Happiness Guarantee

We’re so sure of our work on the Package that we guarantee you will never receive a complaint from an Arabic speaker regarding your app’s translation, ever!

Unfortunately, as this offer requires a time investment from me, we’re unable to refund it.

If you’re not sure that you’re ready to translate your app into Arabic, then it might not be the right time for you to book a Package. However, if you do know that you want to start making more international sales this year, we know that we can help you do that.

My biggest challenge was finding an Arabic translator with experience in marketing. I commissioned Aurora Hikma’s services when I was on a call with Bouchra and she brought to my attention some incorrect grammar from the previous translation I had done. I loved the ease of communication and quick response times, and it was nice to know I was working with someone helpful. I would absolutely recommend Aurora Hikma’s translation services to my friends.

Why can’t I just hire someone from Fiverr and get this translation over with?

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”15″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_style=”normal” font_color=”%23161b22″]Most Arabic translators on Fiverr are not equipped with the English language skills needed to be able to translate into Arabic. Most of them, even though they have gone through formal qualification, are very poor linguists, and as a result, the translations they provide are inaccurate, off-base, and sometimes wildly misleading.

In the best case scenario, their translations will lack basic punctuation skills and be riddled with typos. We’ve had clients who are considering re-doing the Arabic voice-overs in their apps because of mispronunciations of basic words; due to translators speaking in their dialects rather than in Modern Standard Arabic, which is used formally.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]

What about Google Translate?

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”15″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_style=”normal” font_color=”%23161b22″]Would you hire a robot to write your app’s code? Maybe, because robots would be better at it than humans. However, language doesn’t work like that.

Language is inherently human, and no machine translation can match up to human translation (yet!). The last time someone asked our Chief Wordsmith to edit a Google-translated text, she had a good laugh because lace fabric was translated as shoelaces 😛

If you want your app to succeed, please don’t go anywhere near Google Translate.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]

Is there a limit to the size of the apps?

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”15″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_style=”normal” font_color=”%23161b22″]Unfortunately, yes. One of the down-sides of offering you a flat-rate translation fee is the fact that we cannot work on apps with large amounts of content (think over 7 pages in Word).

However, despair not! If you have an app with content that exceeds 7 pages, please email us at after filling out this form so that we can send you a custom invoice that will suit the volume of the work.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]

What is the importance of having a translator with marketing experience?

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”15″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_style=”normal” font_color=”%23161b22″]Ahhhh, this is one of my favorite questions! Remember all you have learned about marketing your app, and how to do it?

We bet you didn’t know what “app store optimization” was before you started your journey with this app, and today, you can hold long conversations all about ASO!

Since you don’t know Arabic, you’re unable to use your ASO knowledge to optimize the language used to describe your app, as well as the keywords that need to be used. This is where we come in, with our expertise in both marketing and the Arabic language, to hand you all the keywords and optimized descriptions on a silver platter :)[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]

I have some questions that aren’t addressed here. How can you answer them?

[op_liveeditor_element data-style=””][text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left” font_size=”15″ font_font=”Droid%20Serif” font_style=”normal” font_color=”%23161b22″]We’re happy to answer any questions you might have about this package. Please email us at to get in touch.

All we ask you is to refrain from using the words “I know this is silly/dumb, but I have a question about X” … here at Aurora Hikma we have a policy of “No Question is a Dumb Question”.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]
